The OJ Streetracker

Another 66 Streetracker soon to be cutting up the tarmac. The front guard is now on and a freshly upholstered seat cover with "extra special padding" will be wrapped around the ali seat pan on Monday.

Jot the weekend 15/16 December down in your diary as we are having a christmas bash. Well sort of, more like come down drink some coffee, take our new demo Streetracker for a spin, meet up with like minded crew and get your bike photographed 'without a rubbish bin in the background'.

Keep posted for the details or subscribe and our first 66 newsletter will arrive in your inbox next week.

We are now open...

We open the store tomorrow. Not sure if we are quite ready but no time like the present, hey.

There are 3 builds happening, a couple of clients bikes waiting for work and we are still putting away the empties from Saturdays party.

The computer had a melt down (as such online shop not complete and newsletter delayed) and stock is arriving. Just another step in the journey.

Putting all that aside everyone is welcome to call in and have a look around and see what goodies we have.

Our shop hours are

wed 10-5,  thurs 10-7.30 and fri 10-5.

From the start of December we open on Saturdays 9-3 with coffee and cakes on supply. Will keep you posted.

Churchill gloves have arrived from the US. We have them in three colours and three sizes.

.

Also check out the Kroops goggles.

Sneak Peek

No.... this little 66StreetTracker is not finished but it's 3/4 the way there. We couldn't resist showing a few carpark shots, mostly so you don't think we are sitting around flapping our gums and drinking coffee all day. And yes the stand will be extended.

The unofficial news is that we are opening on Wednesday 14th November.

Our plan is to to be trading Wed to Sat each week.

Officially we will post our opening hours etc in the next day or so.

A big thank you goes out to all the crew who give us at 66 Motorcycles

 daily encouragement and support.

Coming Together

Two of the Street Tracker builds are nearing completion.

This is a one of the colour combinations which will blasting around the streets in about a week.

Once the little baby is dialled in and photographed she gets

packed in a bloody big Harley shipping box and sent to over east to her new owner.

Some tasty rings for the Street trackers.

First stocks of our 66 leather RidingBags have arrived. They look sweet in black and tan. We have two sizes

to carry all your goodies on and off your ride.

TT Racing

If you're into TT racing and get into your classic racers this is for you. Great filming although I was starting to get a bit spun in the first five minutes ( must have been getting good value out of the Steady Cam ) it all comes good in the second half. Careful, you may add a classic racer to your wish list by the end.

What's happening at 66

You may think we are dragging our heels a bit at the moment but there is a fury of activity in the workshop. The Suzuki 1100 has been the centre of attention to get it on the tarmac and iron out the bugs before the major strip down. This bike affectionately known as The Commissioner has had a new rear hoop, cafe seat, mini guage, clip ons, taller rear shocks, bobbed front fender, tail light, head light etc etc. Waiting on rear sets, mufflers etc.

Another cafe project is the GS 650 which will have a rat style cafe seat, new tank etc etc. Only just started the strip down to the bare frame so look out for progress reports on this ground up build. Other projects on the go are the Yamy XT to become a big bore Street Tracker, a 1000cc XV ( Virago) Cafe Racer and x4 225cc Street Trackers like the ones we hire in Bali.

Not only are the bikes gaining momentum but the stocks of vintage leather jackets is multiplying, the 66 t-shirts are off the press and some vintage inspired bike art in looking for wall space.

Yep it's all starting to happen at the 66 shop so please be patient because it's all about the journey, not the destination.
