Mick's Bike

Mick's street tracker is taking shape and looks a treat in flat black. The all black wheels go on tomorrow and I will get the upholstery finished on the seat. The lines are all coming together and the three shades of black and raw metal look stunning.

This street tracker will be tearing around Freo sooner than...well how about soon.

Devilles Pad - Hot Rods To Hell

Tats, babes, bikes and rods... Devilles Pad was a rocking yesterday at the annual 'Hot Rods To Hell' show. 66 showed off the street terror, drank some beer and kicked back in the autumn sunshine. Now it's back to work finishing off Mick's bike and preparing to assemble Nats XR600 big bore street tracker.

That's the Spirit (mate)

A really nice little film which I think most of us would aspire to.

Flog to Nog...

Ok, I was hoping to have a some carefully planned images of our south west ride but in the rush to get ready I forget to pack a card for the camera...doh. So here are a few iPhone snaps which capture the spirit of the ride. I ended up taking the black Street Tracker from the shop which revelled on the dusty roads but was 500cc too small for the long stretches of bitumen. All is good though as I felt like I was going 180 trying to keep up with Smithy on the 1100 GS who was cruising. A mate said to me after the ride he has bikes which go faster in 2nd than my chosen stead for the weekend. Well maybe so, but I felt like I was at Bonneville for 8hrs.
