Flat Track by Loukas Mexis

We are starting to get the new selection of Bell Custom 500 Helmets arriving in the store. Metal flakes are here in M,L and XL. If we don't have the model your after or the size to fit your noggin we will order it in for you. Open faces are very reasonably priced, full face are comfy and keep you chops warm on these cool mornings but cost a few more bananas.
Duane's surf tunes band The Stingrays put on a"bring the kids" afternoon at The Newport Hotel in Fremantle. The kids rocked out to some classic surf tunes and fun was had by all. Home by 8 after a big feed on the strip, can't beat that.
Every couple of weeks I will be posting images from my 66 garage shoots.
To kick off here are a few with Jessica and the BSA taken last week. There is also one of the Norton.
The TIKI BAR at the Newport in Fremantle had it's grand opening yesterday and we helped wet the baby's head, so to speak. House special is Sailor Jerry rum and it was flowing like the proverbial high seas. There were some great bands, lovely burlesque girls, performers, 66 bikes and high seas merriment. The TIKI BAR gets a thumbs up.
Just in case you didn't receive last weeks newsletter here are some early pics of Nat's XR600 Street Tracker. The build will be finished in a few days just waiting for a new Posh speedo to arrive and the final exhaust placement ( and about 10 other bits and pieces ). This will be a cool build and has a nice blend of custom fabrication, new school parts and lots of neat metal.
We have just returned from a week in Bali and sorry to disappoint but it was not all play. The major outcome of the trip is we have decided to focus on building a new range of cool bikes for Bali and will not be offering a bike hire service any longer. The upside is we have five great Street Trackers we plan to sell to make way for new builds. In a few days we will have a new page with details and prices.
We are closing the store this week to do some house keeping in Bali.
Plenty of builds coming up and a bunch of details on the latest 225 Street Tracker and Nat's XR600.
Stay tuned and don't go tearing your shirts off, open again on 24th April.
Yesterday saw the second annual Hand Made Vintage Custom bike show run at Brett's workshop in Malaga. Not only does Brett build
great customs he also puts on a well organised event bringing together an eclectic mix of bike enthusiasts, music, food,
vendors and good vibes. I should have spent more time taking pics but here are a couple of scenes which caught my eye.
And by the way our new Street Tracker we have just finished for Mick took out an award.
And this is the man that made it all possible ( with the help of his team of dedicated HMVK KREW ).
Well done buddy.
