650 Katana Cafe Racer

The Suzuki 650 Katana has been a long term project but has now found a work bench so we will start seeing some rapid progress.

The brief is to create a mid size Cafe Racer with plenty of poke which has a mix of custom parts, fine detailing and pleasing stance. The tank is off a Kawasaki KZ750 and the rear hump gets it's inspiration from both cafe and flat track styles. To be fabricated in stainless steel. Clip ons are off the shelf but could finish up modified for a slightly more comfortable riding position. Shinko tyres will be fitted to the Hydro Blasted rims which will have all new bearings and bolts.

Other plans include new wiring harness, gauges, vintage headlight bucket, Ikon Shocks, carbs rebuild, engine sorted etc etc.
