Welcome Amigos
Closed over Easter
Hi Folks...just letting you know we will not be open on Saturday during the Easter break.
Next week will be finishing off a few jobs then we will be out of action until 5th May
while we move to the new shop in Oconnor.
Happy Easter
The Diver
The latest BMW to roll out of the 66 workshop is John's R100 RT we have named The Diver.
John and Terese travelled the full breadth of the US and then some on this RT.
At the end of their stay in the states the bike was shipped back to Perth where it has been parked up for a few years.
We were set the task of stripping off some visual weight and creating a reliable fun town bike for two.
The second round of work will be to tidy up the header pipes
and detail the engine.

The 250
When Lajos dropped off his GN250 in stock form he presented us with some images of builds which inspired him.
The underlying style was Brat but they were either of cop bait variety or stripped out for a photo shoot.
Our interpretation for his low key urban runner is seen in these pics which he sent through today.

Tex
This is our new little vid featuring Tex.

Clean Your Ride...
Our Rickman Street Tracker is nearing completion. The 4 pot Brembo brake upgrade has caused a few clearance headaches but with
a new set of triple trees on their way all will be good.
As a side note Leonardo who is Mr Moto Clean has done a great job giving the Rickman some TLC.
We are so impressed by the quality of his work he will doing regular detailing out of our new premises
when we move later this month. In addition we will be offering a bike storage service but will provide more info about
this next week. In the mean time if your ride needs a professional detail
definitely give PCR member Leonardo a call 0408 010 900.

What's happening?
Just a bit of what is going on at 66.

Jap Bike Show
The Jap Bike Show is an annual event in Perth which is mostly about restored classics however the event also caters for custom and modified bikes.
It's usually a bit warm in the Swan Valley in March but fortunately the venue at Whistler's Chocolate Factory has aircon, coffee, ice-cream and a neighbouring business which
specialises in Rum.

Scottee's CB350

Paul's CB350

Nat's X ON took out the Best Tracker category which we happened to sponsor.

We didn't get the 650 Katana completed, more like mocked up for the show. Will be finished soon.
Whats been happening?
Rob's Triumph is looking the goods with his personalised touches. We sprayed out the tank in a vintage blue grey
and fitted internal baffles with some stainless chunky down turns. The pipes will get beige wrap butted up to the down turns.

These are the Daytona gauges we fitted to TEX the TX-650. The 85mm matching set work a treat on mid capacity bikes.
We will have these in stock soon.

These electronic 60mm gauges have been used on a few of our builds now and are very handy when wheel
and tyre sizes have been swapped out. We usually carry a few sets in store. The Katana which will be at
the Jap Bike Show is also sporting a pair of 85mm clocks in this style.
