Commissioned Builds

At 66 Motorcycles our main work is creating commissioned builds. We undertake these projects as ground up restoration/customizations of donor bikes we have sourced or a client has provided. The process starts with  design consultation and budgeting with the aim to create an individual and functional bike which is awesome to ride and great to look at. We welcome your ideas and input during the design stages and can guide you in creating your own unique road going Cafe Racer, Brat, Street Tracker or Bobber.

Donor bikes are usually from the 1970's and early 1980's from the big four Jap makers however there always seems to be a BMW Airhead in the workshop or an oil dripping Brit somewhere. Street Tracker builds are usually built from a late model Suzuki DR650 or Honda 600/650.  We also undertake Vintage MotoCross projects, 4 stroke and 2 stroke.

General Maintenance and Servicing

We specialise in the general  servicing and maintenance of 70's and 80's Jap bikes both 2 stroke and 4 stroke. This may include oil and filter, valve adjustment, fork seals, chains, sprockets, brake pads, brake disks, cables, electrical components, clutch etc. We don't discriminate and have been known to look after much newer bikes and also many European bikes also.

Electrical Work

As you would know finding someone to find and repair electrical problems with old bikes can drive you spare. Luckily we are masochists and will fault find and repair all your electrickery issues.

Tyres

Once again we supply and fit tyres to all of the older bikes. We source from Dunlop, Continental, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Shinko, Heidenau, Firestone, Coker, Avon and others.

We don't limit ourselves to the classics either and will happily supply and fit tyres to your sports bike, dirt bike or cruiser.

Parts

What we sell and use on custom builds we can also fit to your bike. Bars, mirrors, switch blocks, mufflers, filters, indicators, springs, head lights, tail lights, chains, tyres, bearings, sprockets and everything in between.
