CB450
This 1974 Cb450 is a ground up restoration-custom build. The brief was to create a clean
traditional tracker twin which is easy on the eye and comfortable to ride.
The CB is set up for occasional two up riding but is essentially an escape machine which will
be tearing up the backroads in the south west of the state.
Typical of ground up builds the basics are catered for before any customisation.
Rebuilt wheels, brakes, carbies and forks, sprockets and chain replaced,
overhauled electrics, all new bearings and swing arm bushes.
( the engine is fresh and did not require rebuilding )
The light custom work includes a subtle cafe/tracker seat, bobbed fenders,
Lucas style tail light, Posh Indicators, retro 7" headlight, speedo and
reverse cone mufflers which have been repacked with a good amount of fibreglass
for a deeper exhaust note.
The wheels are shod in Pirelli Scorpions which will work a treat on the intended
roads this CB will play on.
